@ queen… Grits are southern polenta. Also the basis for many food religions.
Can also be used as an abrasive or adhesive depending on the talent of the chef.

coarsely ground hulled corn boiled as a breakfast dish. Its really good, but I like Cream of Wheat better. which is kind of the same thing as grits except its creamier. =)

all purpose cream is quite liquid at room temperature. it hardens in the fridge.
