you reallllllllly need to move that banner, it makes it hard to see what you guys are doing on each episode. Very annoying.

Would it benificial to drink the soaking water?

Gosh, where was Kevin? I must say you did a great job solo. Planning on giving my sister a Vitamix blender to coax her to try some raw food smoothies. Ouch, the sticker shock was painful! I’ll stick with the fruit basket!

So I ended up making these but did my own version. You did encourage me to make them for Mom though and by jolly gee she LOVED them! I used the classic crust: dates, raisins, almonds soaked overnight… and then I topped them with a lemon frosting made with: fresh thai young coconut meat, meat of 1 lemon and more dates… I sprinkled a dash of mesquite meal on top to implicate brown sugar… 1 bar last her 2 meals, they were that rich… divine : )

Is wax paper safe to use? I mean, you hear so much about chemicals on those types of things. Just wondering. OH and those lemon zest bars look delicious!

That looks vey yummy, thanks for making it……..The best gift I was ever given was a photo album with pictures taken during my family’s visit. The best gift I have ever given would be a basket of organic goodies grown in my garden, or maybe a nice bundle of my handmade paper, and a bee’s wax candle. Thanks for all the work you do, the two of you are wonderful!

The best host gift I have gotten was a kitten! Some friends were in town and they brought their cat with them because she was pregnant and did not want to leave her alone. She had her babies under my bed! They let me pick one. Once they were done with their mommy’s milk, she brought my little kitty to me. I named her Mi’Ki (thats hawaiian for curious) and she is 3 years old now!

I like to make a nice natural salt scrub for the kitchen or bath.
