I bake my pound cakes at around 290 for 2 hours. this cake looks burnt and crusted. like it would chip your tooth if you bite into it. Good effort though because your batter looked good.

i think you need to reduce the heat if not the time so it won’t burn. or maybe you should have a wider pan so the cake can cook in less time. coz’ i think the cake should be in golden brown color. not dark brown. but still thanks for the effort.

That cake does not look right…let me look back at the other video……not a good ending. Did he compare a pound cake to cinnamon rolls…what was that about!

well, frankly, it looked pretty good to me. Certainly looked a long way from “nasty” and I do like crispy outside. Cut off the crusty stuff if you hate it so.

i tink for pound cake it should be baked for approximately an hour. Ure cake look slighty burned. =\

uhhh….i dun think anyone ever bake a cake for over an hour…you really burned the cake..i think u should try 40-45mins next time..im sure it would turn out way better then now..
