November 22nd, 2009 at 6:11 pm
Does it make any difference to the cake if you grease the tin with butter rather than use cooking spray?
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:11 pm

oh well i made this tonight so it’s ready for tomorrow morning when we wake up. yumm looks good, i just hope i made it right. lol oh and i talked to my mother and she said brown sugar is just white sugar with molasses. so i just added about a teaspoon or more to the sugar that went ontop.
looked and smelled the same as brown sugar. thanks again for this awesome recipe. i’ll be keeping it.

this may seem weird but I have my own recipe for apple coffee cake and its basically the same but my freind told me to use sour cream and it actually makes it sweeter haha…just thought Id share
November 22nd, 2009 at 6:11 pm
Sure, I think it will work, just the flavour will probably be a little sweeter and plainer! Give it a try, I’m sure it will still taste good!
