sansash you are probably wrong, readymade icecream is probably more fattening than homemade icecream, read the ingredients and nutrition facts and compare with the ingredients he used.

You can, but Vanilla Sugar has less flavour than the essence. This will affect the overall taste of the ice cream. I recommend using Vanilla Essence.

It will taste more or less the same, but obviously it will be nicer once it is frozen as it will have the frozen texture

Not really. This method is alright for serving a few people, but if you’re serving 300+ you would be better off buying some ice cream
