Crispy, moist and tender chicken from the grill is easy to do especially with this apple cider and brown sugar brine recipe put together by the BBQ Pit Boys. Now shake on some corn flakes, place ‘em indirect on the grill and you’ll be wishing you made a whole lot more.

xcausticgodx, you answered your own comment…..the longer the marinade, the more flavor. If you listened to the vid, you would have learned that this vid teaches more about technique than specific ingredients, and encourages you to add more spices and heat if that is your preference. -BBQ Pit Boys

I made this and followed the recipie to the T and it tasted bland to me. Maybe I did something wrong. I felt a hour and a half wasn’t long enough for chicken to marinade.

I have found as a farmer that birds with bigger peckers are more tasty than ones with a little one. Most hens have smaller ones it seems. My dad said roosters have big ones for fighting and hens need small ones for pecking?

If only I had a decent barbecue myself.
